I love gracie barra in romeo!!! It’s absolutely amazing, i participate in the adults class and its wonderful so much joy and fun and you get to learn a lot of really cool moves in jujitsu it’s honestly great, Professor murilo is the best and his wife coach emily is absolutely wonderful!! i love going to jujitsu at gracie barra in romeo it’s such a joyful time everytime i go.

What started out as a quest to find a place where our daughter could learn to defend and protect herself, has become a familial journey. Now my wife has started taking classes, and we all love it here. Our daughter has become more disciplined and developed into a leader, and my wife & I have found a way for us to stay active in our 50's!! At the beginning of our classes, we have a saying that starts out " As a Gracie Barra team member....." yes it started out as a team, but it's grown into a family. The support, friendship, comradorie, and leadership learned and taught here is priceless!!

I came in with prior training experience, so I had a solid frame of reference and Gracie Barra Romeo quickly stood out. It’s conveniently located for me, but what’s kept me here is the quality of instruction and the overall atmosphere.
The head instructor’s credentials and experience show in every class. He runs a structured, detail-driven room that’s competitive without feeling chaotic, and welcoming without losing its edge.
It’s a perfect balance: high-level training for serious practitioners, but still approachable and comfortable for anyone putting in the work. There’s something for everyone and I’m genuinely glad I found this place and very grateful to be part of the team.

The best place in Romeo if you're looking for safe Jiu-Jitsu for your children or a physical activity. After my son started Jiu-Jitsu classes, I realized we solved many problems such as sedentary lifestyle, screen time, physical conditioning, and focus at school. My son just started jiu jitsu for his first time here at Gracie Barra Romeo when they opened, and it has been an awesome experience! The professor, his wife, and the whole crew really treat everyone like family. My son is steadily progressing, taking interest in jiu jitsu, and having a great time all the while.

The real deal Jiu Jitsu gym in Romeo! It’s a great location and professor and coach are kind, experienced, professional, and FUN! We are so grateful to have access to this instruction and training near our home. I believe for children it is important to build confidence, learn practical self-defense, and develop focus and discipline.
